WASC recognizes the invaluable contributions of our dedicated parent volunteers. Each season, we invite parents and families to assist in providing our soccer players with the necessary resources for a successful experience. Your support is essential to our success.
Starting with the Spring 2026 season, we will no longer impose a non-volunteer fee for families opting not to participate. There are several critical areas that require volunteer support to ensure a successful soccer season. In recognition of your efforts, the WASC board has approved the introduction of registration credits towards the following soccer season upon the fulfillment of volunteer responsibilities during the current season.
Please see below for detailed descriptions of volunteer roles:
Head Coach: You will receive a free registration for one child for the next season.
In-house Assistant Coach (U6 - U8): You will receive a $30 discount on registration for one child in the next season.
Travel Assistant Coach (U10 and up): You will receive a 50% discount on registration for one child in the next season.
Field Maintenance Volunteer: You will assist in preparing the fields for play before the season begins, as well as maintaining them as needed during the season and after its conclusion. For your contributions to field maintenance, you will earn $25 toward registration for the next season.
Line Painting Volunteer: You will assist in painting lines on the fields 3 times throughout the season to ensure they are ready for games. For your contribution, you will earn $25 toward registration for the next season.
