2026 Spring Puppy Pound - Ages 2 & 3

The Puppy Pound program will consist of 5 Saturday morning practices beginning on Saturday, April 18th and ending on Saturday, May 16th. Your registration fee includes a child sized jersey and an adult size jersey to wear during practices. We have limited spots available for this program, so children will be placed on a first-registered, first-served basis. This program fills up quickly- sign up ASAP.

2026 Spring Inhouse Play (Birth years 2018 -2021)

Games will begin within the first few weeks in April- weather and field condition permitting. You will receive an email from Wilmington Area Soccer Club closer to the start of the season for confirmation. Practices will begin one to two weeks prior to scheduled games. Your child's coach will be in contact with you before your first practice date with more information.

2026 Spring Travel Soccer (Birth years 2008-2017)

Games will begin the first weekend in April as long as field conditions are favorable and weather permits. Practices will start one to two weeks before the first game- (also dependent upon weather and field conditions). Teams will be formed soon after registration closes and after coaches are lined up.

*U10 TRAVEL LITE PROGRAM:
This program is a co-ed league and will play games on Saturdays. Home games will be played at Marti Park and away games will be played with local clubs in the surrounding area that are within a 30 minute drive. Game dates and times are scheduled by participating local clubs and are dependent upon field and referee availability. Games will be played on Saturdays each week.

*TRAVEL SOCCER:
Our travel soccer program is based on age with kids born between 2006 and 2017. PA West is the governing body for our travel program and they schedule all game dates and times for our travel teams (with the exception of U10 Travel Lite). Games are played on Sundays with scheduled times anywhere from noon through early evening. Travel time for away games can be up to 45 minutes away.

REGISTRATION FEES

Registration fees cover costs associated with:

Field rental paid each season
Paint for lining fields
Grass seed/maintenance of fields
Referee fees for each game
Insurance on each child playing
Soccer equipment replacement & repairs
Insurance on soccer equipment/buildings owned
Etc...

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

WASC recognizes the invaluable contributions of our dedicated parent volunteers. Each season, we invite parents and families to assist in providing our soccer players with the necessary resources for a successful experience. Your support is essential to our success.

Starting with the Spring 2026 season, we will no longer impose a non-volunteer fee for families opting not to participate. There are several critical areas that require volunteer support to ensure a successful soccer season. In recognition of your efforts, the WASC board has approved the introduction of registration credits towards the following soccer season upon the fulfillment of volunteer responsibilities during the current season.

Please see below for detailed descriptions of volunteer roles:

Head Coach: You will receive a free registration for one child for the next season.

In-house Assistant Coach (U6 - U8): You will receive a $30 discount on registration for one child in the next season.

Travel Assistant Coach (U10 and up): You will receive a 50% discount on registration for one child in the next season.

Field Maintenance Volunteer: You will assist in preparing the fields for play before the season begins, as well as maintaining them as needed during the season and after its conclusion. For your contributions to field maintenance, you will earn $25 toward registration for the next season.

Line Painting Volunteer: You will assist in painting lines on the fields 3 times throughout the season to ensure they are ready for games. For your contribution, you will earn $25 toward registration for the next season.


Refund Policies

 
Refund Policies:  NO refunds will be given after registration unless moving further than 25 miles away and/or failure of the club to have enough players to field a team. Coverage for Illness, accident or injury is an option provided through SecureFee for $8.40. Not affiliated with WASC.
 
In Case of Natural Disaster/Pandemic
If the season is officially canceled before the end of registration, 100% of fees will be reimbursed.
If the season is officially canceled within one week after registration is closed, 90% of fees will be reimbursed, minus any uniforms ordered.
After the first full week after registration is closed, you will receive a voucher that will allow you to participate in one of the two following seasons. After two seasons (1 full year) the voucher will no longer be valid.
